A direct connection
Facilitate a direct connection between donors and those in need, so the person writing the check can see exactly who it reached.
Making a community difference
The Community of Caring Hearts Charity raises funds through charitable events and gives the proceeds to vetted local charities serving North Texas. Our goal is to distribute 100% of the net proceeds from every event, and our administrative costs run under 1% of gross income.
$728,300 contributed to local community charities to date.
Next up
Our next tournament is set for March or April 2027, with the date and venue to be announced. It is the event that funds the year, and sponsorship conversations are already open.
Our purpose
To enrich the lives of individuals and families who are in need by raising funds to support sustainable local charities that can improve and transform the future of the people they serve.
Facilitate a direct connection between donors and those in need, so the person writing the check can see exactly who it reached.
Ensure a high percentage of the funds raised reach individuals and families. With no paid staff, that percentage is about as high as it gets.
Help other charities help those in need. We fund local organizations already doing the work, chosen through a vetting process by our board.
Ways you can help
Every one of these runs through the golf tournament or the events around it.
Sponsor the tournament at any level, or give directly if golf is not your thing. Sponsorship questions go to Steve Kemp.

Donate an itemSold throughout the event. Cash or card, and every dollar goes into the same pot as everything else.
See the eventsPlay in the tournament, come to the event, or work a shift as a volunteer. Showing up is support.
VolunteerWhere the money lands
Donors can give confidently knowing their funds are pooled with other donations and put to work at a scale no single contribution could reach on its own. Funds are allocated to local charities identified through a vetting process by our board, and we look for organizations that are stable and run on low operating costs.

Help us help others
