How the board works
Reviews the money
Every grant request over two thousand dollars goes to the board. The treasurer presents financials at each meeting and owns the annual audit.
Serves unpaid
No board member receives compensation. Conflicts of interest are declared in writing and members recuse themselves from related votes.
Join us
Interested in serving?
We add one or two directors most years, and we especially look for people with backgrounds in education, finance, social work, or event operations. Terms run three years.

Our goal is to distribute 100% of the net proceeds from every event we host to nonprofit organizations in our community. Administrative costs run under 1% of gross income, because nobody here draws a salary.
